already had forgotten that we can change things. Corruption, unemployment, the false democracy that makes us choose the lesser evil that frustrates us so we had put blinders on to hide the fact that the real architects of what happens is the result of our passivity, our lack of hope and resignation that we live with every day. The Egyptian people has removed the blindfold, has taught us the power of the united voice of a people tired, oppressed and deprived of a freedom that we believe hold and do not use.
Obama, Zapatero, Sarkozy and a long list of political leaders know, and therefore fear it. They are scared because they know there is no greater threat to eliminate their privileges as the united voice of a people. What a shame that here in our country, still do not believe that it may be possible.
live by inertia, assuming the scourge of a sick democracy by the corruption of a political class anchored in their privileges, with the only fight to continue holding them, while as society can survive. And we are tired, so much so that we are left without a voice, not realizing that the real weapon is capable of changing things. They know it, but we have not, and until we realize this, as we have been able to do in Egypt, will not change things, for many elections to come and chairs transfers occur.
